| Description: Maggie Sottero - Harriet When I saw this dress online I knew that this dress was mine; I booked a fitting at Astra Bridal and purchased the gown immediately without trying any others. The strapless sweetheart bodice shows off an amazing décolté. I wore the dress without bra or torselette as the bodice itself gives plenty support (my bra size is 10DD/E). This A-line gown makes you look tiny around the waist. The corset closure looks stunning and the soft chrystals in flower lace give the dress a romantic look (see close-up picture). The train is wonderful and can be hooked up at night (a small hook is hidden under one of the flowers on the back and the dress can be clicked up from 3 sides). So you can dance the night away... The dress is a size 6 but I am normally a size 8 so if you are interested please come and try! The dress has been shortened (I am 161 cm tall) and has been professionally dry cleaned. |

Flowers can be attached to it as well, but are no longer attached. The dress has been worn once and comes with the underskirt and a throw for wearing on your shoulders. Description: Polished to a high sheen over years of perfecting, this strapless A-line gown of silk organdy and duchesse satin with horizontal bias cut bands and bows down the back is classic Vera Wang. Part of the 2009 Vera Wang Spring Collection, it can still be viewed on her website here. It has been listed as one of the top ten Vera Wang gowns of 2009: This dress has the most amazing feel to it and was absolutely my dream wedding dress. Every girl deserves to feel the way this dress made me feel on my wedding day. Sometimes it is hard to choose a dress just from the photos so have a look at the youtube clip of our first dance. It will give you an idea of how this dress fitted and the beautiful way it moves and flows with the contours of your body shape. See YouTube Video here The bows at the back of the dress are detachable if you prefer to not have them. It is light and easy to wear in summer. I have had it re bustled at the back so that is is more secure. No alterations were made at all to the dress other than two breast pads were sewn into the bust as I was concerned that my bust would look too small! I used Regal dry cleaners to dry clean the gown, which included meticulous, hand-finished cleaning and pressing. In addition I have had the dress wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and placed in a purpose designed protective box for storage and preservation. This cost an additional $600 NZ. This dress will make you feel a million dollars on your wedding day. It is absolutely stunning. I bought the dress in Sydney, Australia, so it really will be one of a kind in New Zealand.
